Android maps are the only maps that require an installation before using them. Please follow these steps:
- Internet connection required for 1st time activation. If installing additional TRAX maps, proceed to Step 10.
- Turn off device.
- Insert TRAX microSD card into memory card slot. Any applications or media loaded on previous card will not be available on the device
- Turn on your Android device
- Go to the Android market, and download Navitel Navigator via phone or PC
- Once Navitel is installed, launch the program.
- Welcome screen will appear in Russian. Use the first drop-down box and select English and select OK.
- The order of the following screens varies per device. The recommended options are:
Vehicle Usage Warning Screen = OK
Turn On Navitel.Jams = No.
GPS Window =Yes and select StandAlone GPS. (You may have to be restart Navitel)
Index Window = OK
Registration Window = Complete Mode. Enter the License Key included with your product
- If any additional windows appear, accept default values.
- Additional TRAX Maps:
- If you have multiple TRAX maps, it is recommended to move the Navitel Navigator application to the phone or Navigator will be need to be installed on each microSD card.
- Insert original TRAX microSD card and go to Settings – Manage Applications
- Select Navitel Navigator and choose to Move Application to Phone
- Once complete, additional TRAX microSD cards can simply be inserted into the device and you will not be required to install Navitel Navigator on each card.
- It is recommended you keep the extra License keys as they can be used in future droid devices you may own.
