Update Policy:

  • Same Product and same Year: NDTRAX 2011 to NDTRAX 2011 = Free
  • TRAX or TRAX+ map to any Different Product Year: NDTRAX 2010 to NDTRAX 2012 = $20
  • TRAXWest or TRAXWEST+ map to any Different Product Year: TRAXWest 2011 to TRAXWest 2012 = $40
  • Upgrades - Call to verify but the price will be based on the cost difference of the product to be upgraded and the product being upgraded to.

It does not matter if it is 1 or 2 years later, the price is $20 for updating.

Data provided by state agencies such as Game and Fish Departments and Department of Natural Resources change. Due to this data updates as well as new features will be added to the maps each year. Upon the release of 2010, 2011, you will be able to update to the new version. For most states, updates to the new year happen around March. Some states with active private hunting agreements such as North Dakota, Idaho, and Colorado will also have an update before the fall hunting seasons.

  3. Include your return mailing address with the card.
  4. After receiving the payment and card or CD/ROM,  Kirsch’s Outdoor Products will send you an updated version in 1-2 weeks. This price is subject to change.

Upgrades
Upgrades are typically handled on an individual basis. The standard process is to determine the difference in what you paid for your current product and what you wish to upgrade to. One example is if you were on MTTRAX 2010 and wanted to go to MTTRAX+ 2011. The update to move from 2010 to 2011 is $20 and the price difference from MTTRAX 2011 and MTTRAX+2011 is $20 so the total update and upgrade cost would be $40.   After this upgrade, you can use the Update policy going forward. Please follow the directions below:
